The Pacer Edition CMS Beta 06 Final Release
A couple words from the development team.
Bugs - Don't worry; this is why it's a beta, bugs will occur in beta. We welcome and encourage you to report more.
- Is It Slow in FireFox? - We have been re developing the core using FireFox 3.1.1 - 3.5.5 and it seems to
be doing fine though if you encounter slow browsing make sure you have Firebug off. Firebug tends to eat
up resources - especially when AJAX is in play. When you turn of Firebug, you'll notice a massively significant
performance increase. - What about Internet Explore 8? - We have been testing the core installation using the latest release of
Internet Explore from within Microsoft's updates center. The Pacer Edition Does Not and will Not support
any issues with the use of Internet Explore 6. You will need to update Internet Explore. - We Recommend Not Using beta in Production Environments - Ideally, Beta release should work flawlessly. But in
the world of programming, often ideas might seem a blear at the first sign of concept. The Pacer
edition team recommends that you do not use beta in any production environments, unless you're okay
with possibly having problems. - Wait, it stopped at install! - Yep. The beta release standard has been moved to php 5.3x and at the moment
with two templates for debugging. You'll have to create or upload a template from version 2.8x from wb. We
apologize for this, but creating demo content is usually done right before a final release - not in the beta stages -
so we're concentrating on the more important matters right now.
Third-Party Resources? - "Where's all the 3rd party resources for beta? We have pre packed a few nice modules we have ether created, modified to work or just find them a must. 3rd party modules and templates well start to appear as
the Pacer Edition project moves forward. And it's not clear in the early stages that things are going to have to be revised
or rewritten though we have been working hard for the past 6 months to have a sold and updated core ready with few
issues.

The Pacer Edition CMS Development Team would like to send a Thank You out to all of you who have helped on the last 5 beta releases for The Pacer Edition CMS and look forward to your request, bug, patches and support request. With out all of you we
would not be at this stage of development.
